Released in November 2024, Inferno is a compilation of tracks mainly taken from an era that shaped my musical being. Namely, the mid to late 1980s.
Cover versions of bands such as Dead Can Dance, The Sisters of Mercy, Balaam and the Angel, Jesus and Mary Chain,
Christian Death, Half Man Half Biscuit, Cocteau Twins and even Kate Bush are inter-twined with a 4 part self-penned 'Inferno suite'.
Run to the hills (no I didnt think of doing that one) as Rob Gould sings! and plays the guitar on this one, as well as keyboards , bass guitar and drum programming.
Some mastery and wizardry has been added here and there by Luiz 'Lad' Garcia, Daniel Dobbin-Rattes, Icarus Peel and Crystal Jacqueline.
There may or may not be a follow up to this project, we'll have to see how things go.. If not, then I've told myself not to worry..it's not the end of the world!
